Kita Steuer
Bass / vocals / arranger / producer
Kita was born and grew up in the vibrant city of Sao Paulo in Brazil. Becoming a professional musician was always the plan. So in 1991 he co-founded Banda Cara-de-Pau, a nine-piece soul and R&B band mainly playing Blues Brothers material. As band leader he played the role of Elwood Blues. The band’s highly energetic and humorous performances saw their fanbase swell. Sell out live performances followed and the band were regularly asked to appear on Brazilian national TV shows. One of the bands highlights was opening for Ray Charles at Ibirapuera Park in Sao Paulo for in front of 15000. Since the summer of 2002 Kita Steuer has been living in London working as a full-time professional musician and songwriter. When not working with Soul Fiesta Kita plays with a variety of other bands who have taken him to festivals and venues all over Europe, most recently Montreux Jazz Festival. As one of the principle bandleaders in Soul Fiesta, Kita spends much of his time working on the bands arrangements of new repertoire and continually looking to improve all aspects of the band.
Jandira Silva
Vocals
Born in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, Jandira is a highly talented and accomplished vocalist whose powerful voice is equally at home singing Funk, Soul and Disco as it is Latin. Jandira spent 6 years working as a professional singer in some Portugals mosts celebrated clubs such as the Speakeasy. She was subsequently asked to be the resident singer on a daily TV show on Portugals flagship TV network, she held the position for 2 years before deciding to move to the UK. Despite being a relative newcomer to London, Jandira has performed and continues to clock up regular appearances at the legendary 606 Jazz Club, The Jazz Cafe, the National Theatre and a residency at London’s Quaglino’s Restaurant. In a short space of time she has worked with many of London’s top funk, soul and Latin bands.
Charlie Lewis

Charlie studied music at one of Brazil’s most prestigious music schools. Since returning to his native city of London in 1999 he has become a regular on London’s thriving live music scene. Charlie’s professional playing career spans the last 10 years with stints in various soul, funk and Latin bands throughout the UK. As another principle bandleader of Soul Fiesta Charlie now spends time away from the band as a session musician for various recording artists and continues to play with various bands working at many of the UKs most prestigious venues including The Jazz Cafe and the National Theatre.
Noam Lederman
Drums
Noam was born in Tel Aviv, Israel but lives and works as a professional musician in London. At the age of 33 he has an enviable CV as a session drummer having recorded numerous studio albums and toured extensively around the globe. Most recently he has played on Corinne Bailey Rae and State Of Bengal albums as well as working for the producer Mark Hill, most notable for his work with Craig David and the legendary producer Trevor Horn mastermind of countless hit singles. Noam makes up the third principle bandleader of Soul Fiesta.
Gustavo Marques
Guitar
Guitarist Gustavo Marques grew up surrounded by music in his home city of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He studied at the ’Groove’ School of Music for seven years, and soon after formed his first band ’Rebento’ playing MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira – popularised Brazilian music). After over six years of playing regularly on the thriving Sao Paulo music scene, Gustavo made the move to Europe, and has become a full time member of Soul Fiesta. When not playing with Soul Fiesta Gustavo plays with his Brazilian 70s funk band who released their first album “Jazz Popular Brasileira” on the renowned Candid Records, home of Jamie Cullum. He continues to play live at some of the UKs foremost venues.
Lucas Amorim
Percussion
Lucas grew up in a musical household in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He started life as a very young musician touring extensively throughout Brazil accompanying his father Geraldo Azevedo the Brazilian singer and guitarist famous for his contributions to the Brazilian Popular Music scene. Since locating to London in 2002 he has been in a lot of demand as a freelance percussionist, equally at home playing Soul and Latin music.

Tamar Osborn - Sax
As an exceptionally talented multi – instrumentalist Tamar is in great demand right across the musical spectrum. Over the last 10 years she has played saxophones, clarinet and flute in a wide variety of pop, world music, jazz, classical, musical theatre and sax over D.J performances which has taken her all over the world. She has most recently made appearances at the Glastonbury Festival and Ronnie Scott\\\'s.
Chris Webster - Trombone
Chris Webster is the youngest member of Soul Fiesta and is one of the rising stars of the London live music scene. A versatile player, He has spent the last 5 years playing Blues, Gospel, Soul, Jazz Afro beat and Latin music in clubs, festivals and private parties throughout the U.K. Recent highlights have included appearances with Carleen Anderson at Ronnie Scotts and extensive session work at Abbey Road Studios.
Jake Painter - Trumpet
Jake has toured and recorded with some of the UK\\\'s top acts. His instantly recognizable sound and creative improvisation have earned him a great reputation on the London circuit. Recent work includes touring with Culture Club and session work The Streets and The Go Team. Jake has become very well known for his soulful trumpet over DJ appearances and is first choice for many DJ\\\'s at clubs in London and Manchester including Cargo, The Ministry of Sound.
